MIMA Radiologists – Board Certified Specialists

A Radiologist is a Doctor of Medicine who has completed college, medical school, and a residency program in Radiology so that he or she is specifically trained to interpret medical images.

MIMA Radiologists are certified by the American Board of Radiology. They participate routinely in advanced training programs to gain additional knowledge and skill sets in sub-specialty areas. For example, they recently completed a Cardiac CT Masters Course.

MIMA Radiologists work with any medical doctor
MIMA Radiologists are willing to discuss the best imaging tools with the referring physician to best meet the patient’s needs. This ensures optimal imaging services are provided to all patients. Our goal is to give referring physicians and their patients the best possible tools to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Expertise is our top priority
The expertise of our Radiologists is critical since the field of Radiology continues to advance, with new and improved medical imaging technologies and techniques introduced into mainstream healthcare on a continual basis. When a patient has imaging services performed with MIMA Radiology, the medical images will be produced by a licensed and registered Technologist for the Radiologist to review and interpret. Then, the Radiologist will provide a report to the patient’s referring physician, which helps the patient’s physician determine a diagnosis and available treatment options. As the Radiologist’s report often influences the healthcare and treatment plan the patient receives going forward, it is very important to have experienced, board-certified Radiologists interpreting one’s medical images.
